Neo holds a BCom in Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Property Development and Management from the University of the Witwatersrand. Founder and Managing Partner at Urban Kraal Capital She launched her career at Investec Property Group in 2005, gaining expertise across property management, facilities, and development. Specialising in deal-making and investment structuring, she later established Urban Kraal Properties, a 100% black female-owned property development firm, completing an R52 million affordable housing project in Braamfontein.
Currently, Urban Kraal Capital, a majority black woman-owned private equity firm, manages the Urban Kraal Housing Fund I, which focuses on affordable rental housing and student accommodation, with ZAR 600 million in assets under management. Neo also serves as a non-executive director for Abraham Kriel Bambanani NPC, Meago Asset Managers, and the South African Housing Development Fund.
